Ceramica Cleopatra secured their second consecutive league victory by beating Modern Sport 2-0 in the third round at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia.

Modern Sport remain on four points and occupy ninth place after suffering their first defeat of the campaign.

Their next assignment will be an away match against Smouha in the fourth round on 8 September. Modern Sport will return to action against Wadi Degla on Wednesday, 9 September.
