Rudiger involved in early Real Madrid incidents as Champions League league phase begins

Antonio Rudiger made an important defensive intervention for Real Madrid to stop the danger posed by Romulo Cardoso as the first half got under way.

Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen was penalised for a challenge on Christopher Nkunku in the middle of the pitch.

Rudiger was then involved in another incident after making a rough and forceful tackle on Romulo Cardoso.
