Kylian Mbappe was left visibly embarrassed when asked whether he could be the next footballer to get married, before ending the exchange with a brief “Good night!” and driving away.

According to French football website Foot Mercato, the reporter first asked Mbappe for his reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo’s wedding to Georgina Rodriguez. The conversation was short, but the journalist then turned the question towards Mbappe himself and asked whether he might be next to tie the knot.

Mbappe appeared uncomfortable but smiled before responding with a playful remark: “Watch the wall.”

After being told about Ronaldo’s marriage, the France international added: “Well, congratulations to them.”
