Raja Casablanca reject loan offer for Jordanian forward Mohamed Sharara
Raja Casablanca have rejected an offer from Jordanian club Al-Ramtha to re-sign Mohamed Abu Zreik, known as “Sharara”, during the current summer transfer window.
Al-Ramtha wanted to bring the Jordanian player back on loan for the entire 2026-27 season, but Raja are instead seeking a permanent transfer as they look to reduce their squad.
Raja demand permanent transfer
Sources close to the Moroccan club say Raja turned down the loan proposal because their preference is to part ways with Sharara on a permanent basis.
The club have reportedly told Al-Ramtha that they would consider a suitable financial offer for the player’s permanent transfer rather than agreeing to another temporary move.
Sharara is therefore among the players Raja are looking to move on during the current transfer window.
Sharara could return to former club
The Jordanian forward joined Raja from Al-Ramtha during the summer transfer window, but his time in Morocco could now be nearing an end.
Raja’s decision means Al-Ramtha will have to improve their proposal if they want to bring the player back permanently.
The Moroccan club are continuing to work on their squad ahead of the new season, with the future of Sharara now dependent on whether a suitable permanent offer arrives.
