Renaissance Berkane have identified five players who are expected to leave the Moroccan club during the current summer transfer window as coach Pedro Popesta reshapes his squad ahead of the new season.

The Cape Verdean coach has excluded Mohamed Mourabit, Malian midfielder Soumaila Sibeidé, Amine Mesouab, Amine Azri and Imad Riahi from the group selected for the club’s upcoming training camp in Rabat.

Their omission indicates that the five players are no longer part of Popesta’s plans for the new campaign.

Berkane receive offers for five players

Renaissance Berkane’s management have already received several offers for the players and are now expected to assess the proposals before deciding on their next destinations.

The club will work with the players as it seeks to determine the most suitable options during the remainder of the transfer window.

The five departures form part of Popesta’s plans to reshape the squad before the start of the new football season.
