Baladiyat El Mahalla reveal 2026-27 kit ahead of Professional League campaign
Baladiyat El Mahalla have unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2026-27 season, with the club preparing to compete in the Professional League after finishing 16th in last season’s standings.
The Egyptian club presented the new designs in a launch announcement featuring Ahmed Samir, the former Zamalek and Tala’ea El-Gaish player.
Baladiyat El Mahalla’s home shirt retains the club’s traditional colour scheme, combining a white base with wavy red stripes. The design has been carried over to the reserve kit, although the red detailing is replaced by green.
The launch comes as Baladiyat El Mahalla prepare for another campaign in the Professional League. They will begin the new season away from home against El Mansoura, with the opening-round match scheduled to take place at El Mansoura’s stadium.
Baladiyat El Mahalla were relegated to the Professional League two seasons ago, following a single season in the Egyptian Premier League. Their return to the second tier has since continued, and they narrowly avoided another relegation last season.
They ended the previous campaign in 16th place with 32 points. Aswan finished immediately below them in 17th, the position leading to relegation, but were seven points behind Baladiyat El Mahalla.
The club’s latest kit announcement therefore marks the start of preparations for a season in which Baladiyat El Mahalla will again compete in the Professional League, beginning with their fixture against El Mansoura.
The home design preserves the colours associated with the club, while the alternative version offers a contrasting green variation without changing the overall pattern. Ahmed Samir’s presence in the announcement also links the unveiling to a player who has previously represented both Zamalek and Tala’ea El-Gaish.
Baladiyat El Mahalla’s first test of the 2026-27 campaign will come on El Mansoura’s ground. Their final position last season means they will enter the new competition from 16th place among the Professional League teams, with the seven-point gap to Aswan ultimately separating them from the relegation places.
The club will now look to build on that result when the new season begins, wearing a kit that keeps its familiar white and red identity for home matches and introduces green as the principal detail for away games.
