PSG bid puts Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki in line for Parma move

Paris Saint-Germain have submitted a formal €33m offer to Parma for Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, according to Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The proposal puts Paris Saint-Germain ahead of Juventus in the race for Suzuki, with Parma prepared to move forward after receiving the official bid. The French club have also made their offer directly to the goalkeeper, and Romano says the transfer is now progressing towards completion.

Suzuki has emerged as a target for Paris Saint-Germain during the current summer transfer window as the club assess their goalkeeping options. The offer to Parma represents a significant step in the process, with the French side moving beyond initial interest by presenting a formal financial proposal.

Romano reported that the €33m bid has changed the balance of the competition for the goalkeeper. Juventus had also been involved in the pursuit of Suzuki, but Paris Saint-Germain are now in the stronger position after making their offer and demonstrating their willingness to proceed with the deal.
