National Bank of Egypt target Union Touarga defender Younes Dahmani in $600,000 move

National Bank of Egypt have made a formal offer to Moroccan club Union Touarga for Younes Dahmani as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

The Egyptian side are seeking to continue their recruitment drive with a series of notable additions, and have identified the Moroccan player as one of their targets. According to information obtained by FilGoal.com, National Bank of Egypt have submitted an offer worth $600,000 for Dahmani.

The proposed deal places National Bank of Egypt in competition with two of Morocco’s leading clubs. Raja Casablanca and Wydad AC are also understood to be interested in signing the player, creating a three-way contest for his services.

Dahmani joined Union Touarga from Racing Club Casablanca in January 2025. Since making the move, he has featured 50 times for Union Touarga, scoring 16 goals and providing nine assists.

Across his career, Dahmani has played 53 matches, registering 17 goals and nine assists. His record at Union Touarga accounts for the majority of those appearances and contributions.

National Bank of Egypt are now waiting to see whether their offer can persuade Union Touarga to part with the player, with interest from Raja Casablanca and Wydad AC potentially influencing the outcome. The $600,000 proposal is the first formal offer reported in the race for Dahmani.

The move would represent another step in National Bank of Egypt’s preparations for the new campaign, as the club attempt to improve their squad through targeted recruitment. Dahmani’s goal involvement for Union Touarga has made him a player of interest to all three clubs involved in the pursuit.

No agreement has been confirmed, and the Moroccan player remains contracted to Union Touarga while the clubs consider their respective options. National Bank of Egypt’s offer, however, establishes them as a serious contender for the player’s signature.

The offer comes after Dahmani’s switch from Racing Club Casablanca to Union Touarga in January 2025. In the period since that transfer, he has established a significant record for his current club, making 50 appearances, scoring 16 times and assisting nine goals.

His overall figures stand at 53 appearances, 17 goals and nine assists. Those numbers have contributed to the reported interest from National Bank of Egypt, Raja Casablanca and Wydad AC as the three clubs assess whether they can secure his services before the new season begins.
