Jaissle reveals why he left Al-Ahli as Newcastle United links grow

Matthias Jaissle has broken his silence after his sudden departure from Al-Ahli, saying he felt he was not shown enough appreciation or respect during negotiations over a new contract.

“I hoped to continue leading Al-Ahli, because this was my project, but I did not find appreciation and respect. I hope the fans will appreciate me,” Jaissle said, according to Al-Anqari.
