Raphael Ohin: Ghanaian midfielder leaves Treaty United to become free agent

Ghanaian defensive midfielder Raphael Ohin has left Treaty United and is now a free agent after reaching the end of his spell with the League of Ireland First Division club.

Ohin, 31, departs the Limerick-based side having most recently been part of their squad in the Irish second tier. His exit means the experienced midfielder is free to negotiate with prospective new employers outside of any transfer constraints.

A specialist in the holding midfield role, Ohin had been a senior figure within the Treaty United set-up during his time at the club, operating at the base of midfield and offering protection in front of the defence. His departure marks a change in the club’s engine room as they reshape their squad for the next phase of the campaign.

For the Ghana-born player, the move opens the door to a fresh chapter in his career, with the flexibility to choose his next destination.
