Algerian-French attacking midfielder Faik Amrane has joined USM Khenchela on a free transfer from MB Rouissat. The 28-year-old, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, switches clubs within the Algerian top flight after one season with Rouissat.

Born in Merouana and right-footed, Amrane arrives at USM Khenchela with a market value of around €200,000. His move continues a career spent entirely in Algerian football and strengthens Khenchela’s creative options in the final third ahead of the new campaign.

Amrane only joined MB Rouissat in July 2025, also on a free transfer, after leaving NC Magra. Before that, he had represented JS Kabylie and NC Magra in alternating spells, moving between the two clubs three times between 2021 and 2025, each time on a free. Earlier in his career, he featured for CS Constantine after a switch from CA Batna.

Standing at 1.75m, Amrane has built a reputation as a central attacking presence, capable of linking midfield and attack. His repeated recruitment by top-flight clubs underlines his value as an experienced option for sides looking to add depth and technical quality behind the forwards.

USM Khenchela become the latest Ligue 1 outfit to secure his services without a transfer fee, adding a versatile, domestically proven midfielder to their squad for the coming season.
