Madrid derby, Liverpool and Manchester United among Sunday’s key fixtures

Real Madrid travel to face city rivals Atletico Madrid on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in the headline fixture of a busy day of football around the world.

The La Liga meeting is one of several high-profile matches, with Liverpool away to Bournemouth and Manchester United visiting Fulham in the Premier League. Five professional players will also be involved in matches, while four of them are due to join the Egypt national team’s September training camp afterwards.
