Yvan Dibango: Kryvbas left-back linked with Ferencváros move in Hungary transfer rumours

Ferencváros are being linked with a move for Kryvbas left-back Yvan Dibango, with the Cameroonian defender’s future in Ukraine increasingly uncertain.

The 24-year-old, valued at €1.20m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of fresh speculation over a switch from the Ukrainian Premier Liga to Hungarian champions Ferencváros in the NB I. The reported probability of the transfer is currently listed as “?”, underlining that talks remain at an early, unconfirmed stage.

Dibango, born in Yaoundé on 10 March 2002, has no contract expiry date publicly recorded at Kryvbas, raising the prospect that he could become a free agent or be allowed to move on for a modest fee if negotiations progress. He wears the number 55 shirt and operates primarily as a defender at left-back, playing off his favoured left foot.

The Cameroon international has built his career steadily across Eastern Europe. After leaving Dragon Club de Yaoundé in 2021, he joined Isloch Minsk Region in Belarus, where his market value rose from €100,000 to €300,000 within a year on the back of regular first‑team football. A move to Estonia with FCI Levadia followed in August 2022 before Kryvbas initially took him on loan in September 2022 and then secured him permanently in February 2024, following a brief loan return to Levadia.

His market value peaked at €1.80m in June 2024 during his first full campaign with Kryvbas, reflecting his growing reputation, before settling at €1.20m by December 2025. Recent performances in the Ukrainian top flight – including solid defensive showings in tight league encounters for Kryvbas earlier this season – have maintained interest from abroad, with Ferencváros now monitoring his situation closely.

If a deal is completed, a move to Budapest could provide Dibango with a platform in European competition and mark the next significant step in a career that has already taken him across three leagues by the age of 24.
