Ibrahima Sarr has completed a loan move from FK Pribram to FC Slovan Velvary, leaving the Czech second tier for a stint in the Česká fotbalová liga with an agreement that runs from 06/03/2026 to 30/06/2026.
The 25-year-old Senegalese centre-back joins Velvary on a temporary deal from Pribram, with the transfer officially registered as a loan and no permanent fee disclosed. According to the transfer registration, Sarr remains contracted to Pribram and is scheduled to return to the club at the end of the loan period on 30/06/2026, making this a short-term move aimed at securing regular minutes in the Czech third tier.
Sarr’s switch keeps him abroad and in Czech football rather than in his home country of Senegal, extending a journey that has already taken him through multiple clubs and leagues. A left-footed central defender standing 1.90 metres tall, he will now represent Velvary in the CFL, having joined Pribram from free agency just one day before the loan agreement was concluded.
The defender’s career path shows a pattern of mobility and short spells. Before signing for Pribram from “Without Club,” Sarr spent time with FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim in the Czech Republic, including a loan to Slovak side MFK Dolny Kubin. That Slovak loan ended with his return to Vlašim, after which he became a free agent on 01/07/2024. Earlier in his European adventure, Sarr had a loan spell at FK Teplice B from ASC Jaraaf de Dakar, again returning to the Senegalese club at the end of that arrangement.
Prior to moving to Europe, Sarr progressed through several Senegalese sides, including Cayor Foot, Guédiawaye FC de Dakar and l’Académie Sportive du Sine Jamono Fatick, before establishing himself at ASC Jaraaf de Dakar. His background reflects consistent involvement in competitive football across both Senegal and Central Europe, but the available data does not list specific recent match performances, appearances or statistical contributions for his current season.
Market value data from earlier stages of his career illustrates how his stock has fluctuated. While on the books of MFK Dolny Kubin in 2024, his estimated market value reached €50,000 before later being recorded at €25,000 and eventually dropping to €0 while unattached in 2025. The latest transfer entry connected to this loan does not provide a current market value, and the deal itself is simply categorised as a loan transfer rather than a sale.
The structure of this agreement leaves Sarr’s medium-term future open. Once his loan at Velvary ends on 30/06/2026, he is due to return to Pribram, but the pattern of short-term stays and previous free-agent status suggests the possibility that he could again become a free agent if no extension or new contract is agreed. For now, the move guarantees him another opportunity to consolidate his reputation in the Czech system, with his performances at Velvary likely to determine whether he secures a longer-term role at Pribram, earns a permanent deal elsewhere, or re-enters the market as a free agent when this loan expires.
