Serhou Guirassy: Dortmund centre-forward linked with AC Milan move in Italy rumours

AC Milan monitor Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy amid growing uncertainty over his future

AC Milan are being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Serhou Guirassy, with the Guinea‑France international rated at €40m and his long-term future in Germany unclear.

Data from Transfermarkt lists the probability of a switch from Dortmund to San Siro at 25%, with no contract expiry date publicly recorded for the 29-year-old – a situation that has fuelled speculation he could eventually run down his deal and become a free agent if fresh terms are not agreed. For now, however, any move would be expected to involve a transfer fee, with Guirassy’s current market value set at €40.00m.

Guirassy only joined Dortmund from VfB Stuttgart in July 2024 after a prolific spell in Swabia, where a surge in form saw his valuation jump from €14m in June 2023 to €40m by October the same year. Since arriving at Signal Iduna Park, his value has remained high, peaking at €45m in June 2025 before settling again at €40m in late 2025.

Born in Arles on 12 March 1996, the 1.87m forward represents Guinea at international level having also held French nationality. A right‑footed central striker, he has built his career across Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the Bundesliga, with spells at Stade Lavallois, Lille, Auxerre, Köln, Amiens and Rennes prior to his breakthrough years at Stuttgart and subsequent move to Dortmund.

Guirassy’s recent club form keeps him prominent in the shop window. In Dortmund’s latest competitive outing – a 2-1 Bundesliga win over former club Stuttgart on 28 February 2026 – he led the line from the start, playing the full 90 minutes and registering an assist for the decisive goal, underlining his blend of hold‑up play and penalty-box presence that appeals to Milan’s recruitment staff.

With Milan seeking long-term depth at centre-forward and Guirassy established as a proven scorer in one of Europe’s top leagues, the coming windows will determine whether the Rossoneri test Dortmund’s resolve, or whether the striker’s situation drifts towards free‑agent territory. Any deal could mark the next major step in a career that has steadily climbed from French youth football to the elite stage of European competition.
