Moroccan defender Achraf Dari is being strongly linked with a move from Egyptian champions Al Ahly to Swedish side Kalmar FF, with the switch rated at a 100% probability according to data from Transfermarkt.
The 26-year-old centre-back, valued at €1.20m, is the subject of mounting speculation over a transfer to the Allsvenskan, with his future in Cairo under scrutiny as there is no publicly listed contract end date with Al Ahly – raising the prospect he could become a free agent if no agreement is reached.
Dari only joined Al Ahly from French Ligue 1 outfit Stade Brestois 29 on 28 August 2024, having first moved to Europe from boyhood club Wydad Casablanca in July 2022. A loan spell at Belgian Pro League side Royal Charleroi SC in early 2024 added further top-flight European experience before his move to Egypt.
Born in Casablanca on 6 May 1999, the 1.88m right-footed defender came through Wydad’s youth and reserve teams before breaking into the senior side in 2018. His market value has fluctuated over his career, peaking at €2.50m shortly after his arrival at Brest in September 2022, before gradually declining to its current €1.20m mark as of 1 December 2025.
The links to Kalmar would see Dari swap the Egyptian Premier League for Sweden’s Allsvenskan, adding another country and another top division to a CV that already spans Morocco, France, Belgium and Egypt. No transfer fee has yet been disclosed in the data, leaving open whether any deal would involve a permanent move or hinge on his contractual status.
If the transfer materialises, a switch to Kalmar could offer Dari a fresh platform in Europe to rebuild his market value and reassert himself as a commanding centre-back in a competitive Scandinavian league.
