German giants Bayern Munich have emerged as the latest club to express firm interest in Egyptian international Omar Marmoush in the ongoing transfer window.
Marmoush, who joined Manchester City in January 2025 has struggled to command a starting role, with a host of clubs including Bayern Munich expressing firm interest in the attacker.
Africasoccer.com has learnt that the possibility of Manchester City selling Marmoush is still on the table, given the Financial Fair Play regulations, with the English club having spent more than £80 million this month on signing Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo.
Despite Bayern’s interest, Marmoush prefers to stay in the English Premier League amid interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham in signing him.
Meanwhile, Marmoush will only consider a loan move in the winter transfer window amid uncertain future at Premier League giants Manchester City.
Amid uncentainty about his future, the enterprising attacker registered his first goal of the 2025/26 football campaign for Sky Blues, who are in contention for the Premier League title this season.
Despite clubs seeking for a permanent acquisition of the forward, including Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, Omar Marmoush prefers to leave Manchester City on loan.
It remains to be seen what will happen in the remaining days of the current winter transfer window, which will close on February 2.
