Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush is expected to remain at the Etihad Stadium this winter after links with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray faded away.
Reports indicate that despite speculation, neither Turkish giant has submitted a concrete offer for the Egyptian striker. As a result, City have no plans to sanction his departure during the current transfer window.
Inside the club, Marmoush is viewed as an important squad member, and he is understood to be keen to continue working under Pep Guardiola, who values his qualities and trusts his contribution in attack.
The forward only arrived in Manchester in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth around €57 million, signing a contract that runs until 2029.
Since joining City, Marmoush has made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists, underlining his role as a useful option in Guardiola’s rotation.
With no acceptable proposals on the table and both club and player aligned, Marmoush looks set to fight for his place and continue his Premier League journey in Manchester.
