Antoine Semenyo is pushing hard to make his dream move to Manchester City happen as soon as possible, with reports claiming he wants everything wrapped up by January 1.
According to BBC reporter Sami Mokbel, the Bournemouth forward is keen for negotiations between the clubs to accelerate so he can join City at the very start of the winter window. Bournemouth, however, would prefer to keep him available for key fixtures against Arsenal and Tottenham before the January 10 release deadline, creating a small tug-of-war over timings.
Semenyo has been on the radar of several Premier League giants, with Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all linked at various points. Earlier reports, though, indicated that the Ghanaian’s priority is a move to Manchester City, attracted by the chance to compete for major honours under Pep Guardiola in a trophy-hungry environment.
Formal steps in the deal are expected within 48 hours, signalling that talks are entering a decisive phase. If an agreement is reached quickly, Semenyo could arrive at the Etihad in time to integrate before the season’s decisive months, giving him the platform he wants to fight for titles on multiple fronts.
