Bayern Munich make official move for Egyptian teen talent Hamza Abdelkarim

Al Ahly is giving major attention to the future of four promising youth players, Mohamed Haitham, Hamza Abdelkarim, Omar Abdel Rahim, and Bilal Atiya, as European interest in the quartet grows.

Bilal Atiya has received trial offers from Hannover in Germany and Sporting Braga in Portugal, while Estoril Praia have moved for Mohamed Haitham. Hamza Abdel Karim is on the radar of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, and Omar Abdel Rahim has an offer from Danish side Nordsjaelland.

A source at the club told Kooora that the planning committee has now settled on clear decisions regarding all four players. The committee approved Haitham’s move to Estoril, including a 10% sell‑on clause for Al Ahly, and agreed for Atiya to spend a trial period at Hannover while rejecting Braga’s proposal.

However, Al Ahly turned down Abdel Rahim’s transfer to Nordsjaelland, despite a preliminary agreement worth 100,000 dollars, due to the risk of him later joining another Egyptian club before he turns 18.

The same source stressed that the Cairo giants are standing firm in talks with Barcelona over Hamza, refusing the idea of a free loan and insisting on receiving a transfer fee if the Catalan club want to sign him.
