Krunoslav Jurčić sets bold path for Pyramids with ambition and big targets
Pyramids FC coach Krunoslav Jurčić has shared his vision for the club while speaking warmly about Egyptian players and their potential.
The Croatian coach, who is determined to guide Pyramids to the Egyptian Premier League title, believes ambition is what drives both him and the club.
In a television interview, Jurčić praised the talent of local players but stressed the need for further development in discipline and habits. He reflected on Croatia’s football culture, noting that with a population smaller than Cairo, the country still produces stars for the biggest clubs in Europe thanks to early focus on physical and mental growth.
Jurčić was also open about his transfer dreams. He said: “Without a doubt, Imam Ashour, the Al Ahly player, and Nabil Emad Dunga, the Zamalek player, is a fighter and a special player.”
On recruitment, he added, “I spoke with the management after winning the CAF Champions League title, and I was convinced of the need to strengthen the team with four or five new players, with at least three of them in the starting lineup.”
