Egypt will host the competition from 1 to 15 November, with eight teams involved. Masar, representing the host nation, were drawn in Group A alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Morocco’s Fath Union Sport and Cameroonian side Lekie.

Group B consists of Moroccan club AS FAR, Mali’s Bamako, Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies and the representative from West Africa.

Masar’s group-stage fixtures are:

– Sunday 1 November: Masar v Mamelodi Sundowns, 17:00, Suez Canal Authority Stadium – Wednesday 4 November: Masar v Fath Union Sport, 17:00, Suez Canal Authority Stadium – Saturday 7 November: Masar v Lekie, 14:00, Suez Canal Authority Stadium

The semi-finals will be played on Wednesday 11 November.

The third-place play-off is scheduled for Saturday 14 November at 14:00, while the final will take place on Sunday 15 November at 17:00.

Masar defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in the 2024 edition of the competition. The Egyptian club’s best result in the tournament came in that campaign, when they won the bronze medal.

The eight teams have been divided into two groups, with the top two sides in each section advancing to the semi-finals.

AS FAR are the defending champions after winning the previous edition. They share the record for the most CAF Women’s Champions League titles with Mamelodi Sundowns, with both clubs having lifted the trophy twice.
