France international of Senegalese descent Boubacar Kamara has committed his future to Premier League outfit Aston Villa after signing a new deal with the club.
Despite having two-year left on his contract, the Premier League outfit has tied the enterprising midfielder to a long-term deal in an attempt to fend off competition interest from the Villains’ Premier League rivals.
Having committed his future to Aston Villa, the midfielder is expected to play a huge role for the club ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
The 25-year-old midfielder made 42 appearances for Aston Villa as Unai Emery’s side narrowly missed qualifying for Champions League following a controversial 2-0 loss at Manchester United on the final day of the Premier League campaign.
Aston Villa were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-final stage against eventual title winners PSG. Next season, Villa will compete in the Europa League, a competition that Unai Emery has already won four times, with Sevilla FC (2014, 2015, 2016) and Villarreal (2021).
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has made five appearances for the French national team, since making his debut in June 2022.
