Pierre Landry Kabore is on the verge of joining Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian FC following a standout season with JK Trans Narva in the Estonian Premium Liiga.
The 24-year-old winger enjoyed a prolific 2024/25 campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists in just 15 league appearances.
His performances have caught the attention of several clubs, with Hearts emerging as the frontrunners to secure his signature.
According to The Edinburgh Evening News, negotiations between the involved parties are progressing positively, with Kabore expected to finalise his move to Tynecastle Park in the coming days.
The Burkina Faso international is currently under contract with JK Trans Narva until December 2025, but the Estonian club is open to a deal that would see him depart well ahead of schedule.
Kabore, valued at €175,000, has become one of the most sought-after talents in the region, and Hearts appear set to win the race for his services.
The Edinburgh club is not the only side to express interest—Moroccan giants Raja Club Athletic are also reported to have made inquiries—but the Scottish outfit has moved swiftly to position themselves at the front of the queue.
“It’s a great opportunity for him,” a source close to the negotiations said. “He’s had a fantastic season and is ready to take the next step.”
A graduate of Burkina Faso’s ASF Bobo youth system, Kabore has built his career steadily across several African and European clubs.
Prior to his move to Estonia, he featured for Salitas, Sonabel, and SOL FC d’Abobo, gaining valuable experience and showcasing his versatility on the right wing.
The potential move to Hearts represents a significant leap for Kabore, offering a platform in one of Europe’s more competitive leagues.
His pace, direct style, and goal-scoring instincts make him a natural fit for the Scottish game, and he is expected to provide fresh attacking options for Hearts as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
Should the deal go through, Kabore will become one of the few Burkinabe players currently active in Scottish football—an achievement that underscores the strides he has made in his career since leaving West Africa.
Hearts are expected to make an official announcement once final terms are agreed, with Kabore now closer than ever to taking the next major step in his professional journey.
