Renowned South African coach Pitso Mosimane has emerged as a top candidate for the managerial position at Egyptian Premier League club Al-Masry.
Mosimane, who is currently a free agent following his recent departure from Iranian side Esteghlal FC, is reportedly on the club’s radar as they consider parting ways with current head coach Anis Boujelbene.
The Tunisian manager, who took charge in February, has come under pressure due to a string of poor results.
According to multiple sources, Al-Masry’s management is weighing up several potential replacements.
Alongside Mosimane, the shortlist is believed to include Ayman El-Ramady, Mimi Abdel Razek, and Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos.
Mosimane is no stranger to Egyptian football, having previously led giants Al Ahly to significant domestic and continental success.
His name has also been recently linked with Zamalek SC, who are in search of a new manager following the exit of Jose Peseiro.
