Mohamed Salah has shared why Liverpool’s 2024-25 Premier League title feels even more significant than their previous victory under Jurgen Klopp.
Salah, who was instrumental in Liverpool’s dominant 4-0 win over Tottenham, helping the team secure the title, emphasized how this triumph stands out in his career.
The Egyptian international, who contributed significantly with goals and assists, now has a combined tally of 46 goal contributions in the Premier League this season.
In a conversation with BBC Sport, Salah explained the unique sense of accomplishment this title brings.
“For me, this title feels more special. Jurgen Klopp is not here and other players I respect a lot are not here, but to do it with a new manager and a new team shows what I’m capable of,” he remarked.
Salah’s achievements continue to cement his legacy at Liverpool, as he becomes one of seven players in the current squad to claim two Premier League winner’s medals.
He joins fellow stars such as Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Curtis Jones, all of whom have experienced the ultimate domestic success.
Salah’s leadership and pivotal performances have played a crucial role in ensuring Liverpool remained a force in English football.
