Kennedy Okpala transfer: Cracovia weigh move for Paderborn striker
German-Nigerian forward Kennedy Okpala has been linked with a move from SC Paderborn to Cracovia, with the Polish club considering a transfer for the 21-year-old centre-forward.
Okpala is currently with Paderborn, who compete in Germany’s Bundesliga, while Cracovia play in Poland’s Ekstraklasa. The rumour was recorded on 17 August 2026 and represents a potential move across two of central Europe’s top-flight leagues.
The forward’s listed market value is €1.5m, providing an indication of the level at which a deal could be assessed, although no transfer fee has been reported. There has also been no confirmation from either club that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.
Okpala’s age and dual German-Nigerian nationality are among the few established details surrounding the reported interest. His position is centre-forward, meaning any move would concern Cracovia’s attacking options rather than a positional conversion elsewhere in the squad.
For now, Okpala remains a Paderborn player and the proposed switch to Cracovia is only a rumour. A transfer would take him from the Bundesliga to the Ekstraklasa, but the available information does not establish whether an offer has been made or whether the clubs have entered formal talks.
