Manchester City have set their sights on PSG’s rising star Mahamadou Sangare, with the 18-year-old Mali striker reportedly leaving the French club at the end of the current season.
City are keen to secure his signature and have already devised a development plan for the young forward.
The plan involves bringing Sangare to Manchester City before loaning him to Troyes, one of City’s partner clubs within the City Football Group network.
Sangare’s departure from PSG is imminent, with the player’s contract expiring at the end of this season.
As a result, he is attracting significant interest from several clubs, with Manchester City reportedly among the frontrunners.
While the deal remains in its early stages, the prospect of securing Sangare’s services appears to be a priority for City’s scouting team.
However, Manchester City will face competition for Sangare’s signature, as Bundesliga clubs have also entered the race.
According to local reporter Fabrice Hawkins, the youngster has drawn attention from German teams, who are eager to add him to their ranks for next season.
Currently, there is no formal agreement in place, and City’s plan to loan Sangare to Troyes after recruitment is still in the early planning stages.
Despite the Bundesliga interest, City’s development-focused approach, leveraging their connections within the City Football Group, makes them strong contenders for the young striker.
