Olympique Marseille is setting its sights on Bayern Munich’s versatile right-back, Sacha Boey, to strengthen their shaky defense.
Struggling to solidify their backline, the French club’s recruitment team, led by Pablo Longoria, sees Boey as the ideal solution ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to L’Équipe.
The 24-year-old French-born Cameroonian right back has been a standout in Vincent Kompany’s tactical setup in the Bundesliga, making him a prized asset for Bayern. However, prying Boey away won’t be easy. With a contract running until June 2028 and a €3 million annual salary, the Bavarians are in no rush to part ways. A loan deal might be Marseille’s best hope if a permanent transfer proves unattainable.
