Djawal Kaiba, the dynamic 21-year-old Cameroonian midfielder, has officially returned to SCR Altach in Austria’s top division after a brief but impactful loan stint with Schwarz Weiß Bregenz in the Austrian Bundesliga 2.

The club announced his return on November 20, 2024, on the club’s website.

Initially signed by SCR Altach in the summer of 2023, Kaiba spent much of his debut season honing his skills with the reserve team. Loaned to Schwarz Weiß Bregenz at the start of the 2024-2025 campaign, Kaiba quickly made his mark, appearing in nine matches, scoring two goals, and providing two assists.

During the recent international break, Kaiba’s standout performances in training and a friendly match caught the eye of SCR Altach’s management. His early recall signals the club’s confidence in his abilities.

With five caps for Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions, Kaiba is poised to inject energy and versatility into the Altach midfield as the team gears up for a critical phase of their season. His return is hailed as a timely boost to the squad’s ambitions.
