Wydad presidential candidate disrupts general assembly plans with legal action
Touzer’s complaint stems from the club’s abrupt decision to reschedule the general assembly from the originally planned date of July 18 to July 3 without consulting the candidates.
He argues that the new date conflicts with his schedule, as he will be out of the country, and violates the principle of equal opportunity.
Touzer has filed an urgent request with the Civil Primary Court, seeking a ruling to revert the general assembly to its original date of July 18.
His legal representative, Aziz El Maskawi, an attorney from the Casablanca Bar Association, is handling the case.
The court has scheduled a hearing for July 3 to consider Touzer’s appeal.
This legal maneuver has disrupted the Wydad board’s plans and introduced uncertainty regarding the club’s presidential election timeline.
