Mohamed Salah rejects €25m Saudi offer to stay at Trabzonspor – Report
Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah has reportedly rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab, choosing instead to continue his career with Turkish side Trabzonspor.
According to Africafoot, citing Turkish reports, Al-Shabab attempted to convince the forward to move to the Saudi Pro League with an offer that included a guaranteed annual salary of €25 million.
However, Salah turned down the proposal, signalling his desire to remain at Trabzonspor despite the financial incentives on the table.
Salah tells agent to stop transfer offers
The Egyptian international has reportedly gone a step further by asking his agent, Rami Abbas, to stop presenting him with new transfer offers.
The decision is said to reflect Salah’s determination to focus on his current spell in Turkey rather than consider a move elsewhere in the coming months.
Egyptian forward impresses at Trabzonspor
Salah’s decision comes after an impressive start to the season, during which he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
His 15 goal contributions have reportedly attracted interest from several clubs seeking to secure his services.
The forward remains under contract with Trabzonspor until June 30, 2028, while his market value is estimated at around €17 million.
Trabzonspor are preparing for their next fixture against German side Freiburg in the third round of the UEFA Conference League league phase.
