TUNISIA: CS SFAXIEN FILES COMPLAINT AGAINST AS MARSA
CS Sfaxien has lodged a complaint in the Tunisian football championship against AS Marsa regarding a match from the 24th day of Ligue 1. The complaint alleges that Slim Mahjbi, a player from AS Marsa, was ineligible to play during this match. CS Sfaxien contends that Mahjbi’s inclusion in the game was improper and seeks to overturn the result in their favor.
If the complaint is upheld, CS Sfaxien could be awarded a victory by default, resulting in the allocation of three points to their team. This would represent a significant development in the standings of the Tunisian football championship.
The Tunisian authorities are expected to provide a response to the complaint in due course.
