Richarlison agrees personal terms with Trabzonspor as Tottenham reject two bids

Trabzonspor have reached a preliminary agreement with Tottenham forward Richarlison over personal terms ahead of a potential move to the Turkish club, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Richarlison is now understood to be strongly open to joining the Turkish league, with Trabzonspor making the Brazil international their top attacking target. The Turkish transfer window remains open until 4 September, giving the club additional time to try to complete the deal.

The 29-year-old would earn three times his current Tottenham salary if the transfer goes through.

However, an agreement between Richarlison and Trabzonspor has not yet been matched by a deal between the two clubs. Tottenham have rejected two offers from the Turkish side, reported to be worth €15m and €20m.

Trabzonspor are expected to submit another proposal in the coming days as negotiations continue. The club have already made two attempts to sign Richarlison, but Tottenham’s management turned down both bids while discussions remain ongoing over the structure and final value of the transfer.

The move would offer Richarlison a fresh opportunity after his proposed return to Everton broke down. The Brazil forward had been linked with a switch back to his former club in a deal that was also expected to involve Everton player Iliman Ndiaye moving to the London club.

With that transfer no longer progressing, Richarlison now has another possible route away from Tottenham. Reports indicate that he wants to leave the club, while Trabzonspor are keen to accelerate talks and settle the deal before the Turkish transfer market closes.

Trabzonspor have already added Mohamed Salah and Fabinho during the current summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad. Richarlison has emerged as their priority for the attack, but the club must still convince Tottenham to accept an offer that meets their requirements.

The forward’s personal terms are therefore not expected to be the main obstacle. The remaining issue is the fee payable to Tottenham, with the English club having rejected the two proposals received so far.

Romano’s report suggests that negotiations are still active and that a new offer from Trabzonspor is likely. Any agreement would need to be completed before the Turkish window shuts on 4 September, with Richarlison’s willingness to move to Turkey potentially helping the clubs reach a final compromise.
