Red Star Belgrade track Enppis Egyptian winger Hamed Abdallah in low-cost move

Egyptian left winger Hamed Abdallah of Enppi SC is being linked with a summer switch to Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade, with the 20-year-old emerging as a potential bargain at a reported market value of 200,000 (170,000).

The rumoured interest, logged on 3 July, concerns a move from the Egyptian Premier League to the Serbian Super Liga, though the probability of the deal remains listed as ? and there is no indication yet of formal talks between the clubs. Abdallahs contract details at Enppi are undisclosed, raising the possibility that he could move on favourable terms or even approach freeagent status if his current deal is close to expiry.

Abdallah, born on 25 September 2005 in El Hamool, only stepped up from Enppi SC U21 to the first team on 1 July 2025 and has since been used primarily on the left of the attack. A right-footed winger, he is listed at 1.81m tall and wears the number 28 shirt for the Cairo-based club.

His progress has been reflected in a rapid rise in valuation. According to Transfermarkt, Abdallahs market value climbed from 75,000 in September 2025 to 125,000 in December, then to 150,000 in March 2026 before reaching 200,000 by 20 May 2026. That trajectory has drawn attention from recruiters in Europe, who view the Egyptian Premier League as a growing source of relatively low-cost attacking talent.

Enppis own platform lists him domestically rather than with the senior national team, and there is no record of a full Egypt cap to date. However, his elevation from youth to senior level in under a year, combined with his age profile, makes him an archetypal development signing for clubs willing to invest in resale potential.

While precise match-by-match statistics are not provided, Abdallah has featured for Enppi in the 2025-26 Egyptian Premier League campaign, including a recent league outing in which Enppi faced domestic opposition in 2026; he is described as a left winger whose performances there helped underpin his latest valuation. No specific fee has been quoted beyond that 200,000 benchmark.

For Red Star, the link fits a pattern of targeting emerging talent from outside Europes top five leagues, though it is not yet clear whether they see Abdallah as an immediate first-team option or a project player. With the move still firmly in the rumour category and the probability rating unresolved, both club and player appear to be weighing options.

If the transfer does materialise, a step from Enppi SC to Red Star Belgrade would represent a significant leap in profile for Abdallah, offering him the chance to test himself in European competition and accelerate a career that has already moved quickly since his promotion from youth football.
