Paris Saint-Germain hold a 1-0 lead over FC Barcelona at half-time at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, in the third matchday of the UEFA Champions League league phase.
Desire Doue scored the only goal of the opening 45 minutes in the 37th minute, finishing from Joao Neves’ assist.
PSG made the brighter start and came close to taking the lead in the sixth minute when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hit the post behind Joan Garcia.
FC Barcelona responded through Dani Olmo and Raphinha, but PSG goalkeeper Matvei Safonov dealt with their efforts. Joao Cancelo was shown a yellow card in the 16th minute after fouling Doue.
Both sides were forced into early substitutions during a disrupted first half. Ousmane Dembele went off in the 19th minute with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Ferran Torres.
Barcelona then lost Olmo, who made way for Fermin Lopez in the 26th minute because of a physical problem.
PSG therefore take their advantage into the interval, although FC Barcelona remain within reach of an equaliser in the second half.
