PSG keep Quentin Ndjantou after injury recovery

Quentin Ndjantou’s comeback has ended any talk of a loan exit, with Paris Saint-Germain planning to keep the teenager in the first-team picture next season.

After a long hamstring layoff, the 18-year-old is back on track and expected to resume individual work on the pitch about 10 days before the rest of the squad returns for preseason.

PSG see the academy graduate as more than a depth option. He signed his first professional contract on 28 July 2025, tying himself to the club until 30 June 2028, and then began turning promise into real contribution.

In September, he scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 UEFA Youth League win over Atalanta, before making his senior debut in a 2-0 Ligue 1 victory over Auxerre. His Champions League rise followed quickly, with appearances against Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur, plus his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win away to Metz.

The injury, which required surgery after a grade-three hamstring problem in December, ended his 2025/26 season early. Even so, Luis Enrique now views him as part of the senior squad rather than a loan candidate.
