Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the star striker of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), was notably absent from the team’s training session at Camp des Loges on Thursday morning, less than 48 hours after the club’s elimination from the Champions League quarter-finals against Chelsea.
Reports from Le Parisien indicate that Ibrahimovic, who sustained a muscle injury to his thigh during the first leg against Chelsea on April 2, was not present due to personal reasons. It’s reported that the Swedish striker traveled to Sweden, though specific details regarding his trip have not been disclosed.
Initially, Ibrahimovic was scheduled to undergo medical examinations in Paris on Friday to assess the extent of his injury, which was initially estimated to sideline him for around a month. However, these examinations are expected to be postponed until his return to France.
