Mohammed Kudus linked with Premier League rivals amid Tottenham struggles
Interest in Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is intensifying ahead of the summer transfer window, with Chelsea and Manchester United both monitoring the Tottenham Hotspur winger despite his recent injury setback.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined since January due to a hamstring problem, yet his absence has done little to diminish his standing in the transfer market.
Kudus remains one of Tottenham’s most valuable assets, attracting attention from leading Premier League clubs.
According to information reported by journalist Ekrem Konur, both Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping a close watch on the player’s situation as they consider potential reinforcements.
The interest comes at a time when uncertainty surrounds Tottenham’s season, which could play a decisive role in shaping the club’s transfer activity.
Tottenham currently find themselves in a difficult position in the league table, sitting 18th with 30 points.
Their precarious standing raises the possibility of relegation, a scenario that could prompt significant changes within the squad.
In such circumstances, key players could be allowed to leave, with Kudus among those likely to attract strong offers.
Despite his injury layoff, Kudus’ performances earlier in the campaign have maintained his reputation.
Over the course of the season, he has made 26 appearances across all competitions, contributing three goals and six assists.
His ability to influence matches from wide areas continues to make him an appealing option for top clubs.
The Ghanaian forward, who hails from Accra, remains under contract with Tottenham until June 2031. His long-term deal reflects the club’s belief in his qualities, but it also places them in a strong negotiating position should interest translate into formal bids.
Kudus is currently valued at around €55 million, with his annual salary reported to be in the region of €9 million.
These figures underline both his importance within the squad and the level of investment required for any potential transfer.
As the summer window approaches, attention will focus on Tottenham’s league status and how it may influence decisions regarding their key players.
Kudus’ future could become a central storyline, particularly if interest from rival Premier League sides develops into concrete offers.
