Sharing his insights with PSG players ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Parc des Princes, Sagna emphasized the need to be cautious against Chelsea’s quick forward movements.
“They project forward quickly, so we must avoid overcommitting and maintain a disciplined defensive line. Hazard poses a significant threat, but we must also be mindful of Ramires’ runs and Oscar’s off-the-ball movement. In Paris, we must avoid falling into a slow rhythm and instead play with intensity and aggression. Chelsea may be content to relinquish possession and capitalize on counterattacks,” Sagna stated.
