Krunoslav Jurčić commits to Pyramids FC and rules out Egyptian rivals
Croatian manager Krunoslav Jurčić has made clear his emotional attachment to Pyramids, explicitly rejecting any future coaching prospects with other Egyptian clubs.
He emphasized his dedication to the team and his desire to end his Egyptian coaching journey exclusively with the Sky Blues.
In television statements, Krunoslav Jurčić declared: “I’m emotionally attached to Pyramids and delighted to be here. All my focus is on the team until the end of my contract, and after that I might explore some offers from abroad, but it’s very difficult for me to continue in Egypt after this experience. Pyramids has become my second home.”
The Croatian manager revealed he rejected previous overtures from Egyptian clubs, noting offers to coach Zamalek during his time abroad. He highlighted his respect for Marcel Koller, describing him as “one of the toughest coaches I’ve faced,” and praised Mohamed Salah as “one of the world’s best players without doubt.”
Regarding potential signings, Krunoslav Jurčić expressed interest in acquiring Imam Ashour from Al-Ahly and mentioned Hosam Abd El-Meguid or Nabil Emad Dungo from Zamalek. He credited his achievements at Pyramids to the club’s ambition and stated that even a temporary role coaching Al-Ahly during the Club World Cup would not interest him.
