Jordan Pereke joins CD Azuaga as Nigerian midfielder signs through to 2027
Nigeria midfielder Jordan Pereke has joined Spanish club CD Azuaga on a free transfer from AD Ceuta B.
The 23-year-old central midfielder has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027, completing his move on 3 September 2026. Pereke, who was born in Lagos, is right-footed and stands 1.86m tall.
Pereke spent the 2025-26 season with AD Ceuta B after joining the club from Oviedo Vetusta in July 2025, also on a free transfer. He made five appearances in Segunda Federacion Group I, playing 212 minutes.
The Nigerian also recorded 14 appearances and two goals in the competition listed as Promocion a 2a Federacion, with 1,088 minutes played. Those figures represent his most recent recorded senior experience before switching to Azuaga.
Pereke began his time in Spain with Oviedo’s youth structure, moving from Covadonga to Oviedo Under-19s on loan in January 2022 before joining Oviedo Vetusta in July that year. He then spent time on loan at L’Entregu CF during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns, returning to Oviedo Vetusta at the end of each spell.
A further loan move took him to CD Mosconia in January 2025 before he returned to Oviedo Vetusta six months later. His move to AD Ceuta B followed shortly afterwards, giving him another season of senior football in Spain.
Pereke now continues his career with CD Azuaga, where his contract is scheduled to run until the end of June 2027.
