Farco lodge formal complaint against Zamalek over unpaid Amr Nasser and Ahmed Sherif transfer instalments

Farco have lodged a formal complaint with the Egyptian Football Association against Zamalek over unpaid transfer instalments relating to Amr Nasser and Ahmed Sherif.

The Egyptian club say Zamalek owe them a total of 27 million Egyptian pounds for the two deals.

Farco’s claim includes 18 million Egyptian pounds still outstanding from Amr Nasser’s transfer. That amount covers three instalments which remain unpaid.

According to the complaint submitted by Farco, the club has been waiting for the money from December until July.

The two players moved to Zamalek from Farco at the beginning of last season. Their transfers formed the basis of the financial dispute now referred to the Egyptian Football Association.

Ahmed Sherif made 34 appearances for Zamalek after completing the move. He scored four goals and provided three assists during that period.

Amr Nasser played 13 matches for the club and scored three goals.

Farco’s complaint is specifically concerned with the failure to pay the remaining instalments agreed as part of both transfers. The club has set out the sums it believes are due, separating the outstanding balance between the two players.

The unpaid amount linked to Nasser accounts for the larger share of the claim, with 18 million Egyptian pounds due across three instalments. The remaining nine million Egyptian pounds relates to Sherif’s transfer and is also divided into three instalments.

Farco have therefore asked the Egyptian Football Association to consider the issue after the payments were not completed within the period stated in their complaint.
