The tournament has grown in popularity, drawing teams from across the continent to compete in this fast-paced, small-sided version of traditional football.
The event is overseen by the African Mini-Football Confederation, which aims to promote and develop the sport across Africa, making it accessible to a wider audience and providing opportunities for smaller nations to shine on the international stage.
The upcoming edition in Derna is expected to be a festive occasion, with the Libyan city preparing to welcome players, officials, and fans from across the continent.
It is seen as a momentous opportunity for Libya, which has been eager to showcase its ability to host major events and strengthen ties with neighboring nations through sport.
