Manuel Neuer returns to the Bayern Munich line-up for Tuesday’s Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.
The experienced goalkeeper has missed Bayern’s past three matches. His most recent appearance came in the third round of the league phase, when Bayern drew 2-2 with Arsenal.
Michael Olise also starts for Vincent Kompany’s side after doubts over his availability. The France international sustained an injury in Bayern’s most recent match, against Borussia Dortmund, but has been selected from the beginning in Madrid.
Neuer will be supported in defence by Laimer, Tah, Upamecano and Stanisic. Kimmich and Bischof are named in midfield, alongside Olise, Karl and Davies, with Harry Kane leading the attack.
