Mamelodi Sundowns have unveiled their third kit for the 2026/27 season, with the new strip designed around the club’s “Never Stop Rising” campaign.
The kit, created in partnership with Puma South Africa, is called the “Rise Kit” and completes Sundowns’ collection for the campaign after the club previously released its yellow home shirt and blue away strip.
The design draws inspiration from the African sky. Its white and blue colours represent hope, peace, opportunity and the belief that greatness has no boundaries.
The launch also reflects Sundowns’ wider season-long message, which focuses on the club’s continued pursuit of excellence and the collective journey of the Yellow Nation across the African continent.
The club has linked the release to its National Children’s Day activities, giving the kit a social purpose beyond its use on the pitch. Under the message “Every Child Deserves to Rise”, Sundowns will promote children’s rights, dignity, protection and empowerment.
Mamelodi Sundowns Club Ambassador and former captain Hlompho Kekana said the design was intended to encourage young people to believe in their potential.
“Through this Rise Kit, we aim to inspire children and the youth to dream beyond the skies, believe in their limitless potential, and rise above their circumstances to turn their dreams into reality,” he said.
“Because every child deserves the opportunity to dream, to achieve, and to rise. To those of us in leadership positions, this kit is a reminder to continue creating a conducive environment that nurtures and protects the well-being of kids.”
The Rise Kit will be worn in a match for the first time when Mamelodi Sundowns play Durban City in a PSL game on Saturday 31 October 2026.
The kit will be available from 30 October 2026 through PUMA retail stores, PUMA.com, Totalsports, Takealot and Studio 88.
The Authentic players shirt will cost R2399, while the Replica men’s and women’s versions will be priced at R1299. The Replica kids’ shirt will cost R1199.
