Manchester United tracking Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy

Manchester United are monitoring Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy as they begin planning for the January transfer window.

According to Topskills Sports UK, the Guinea international is among the attacking players being assessed by the Premier League club, who could look to strengthen their forward line in January. Manchester United have followed Guirassy for several years and previously considered his profile in 2023.

The 30-year-old could now be viewed as an experienced option, particularly if Joshua Zirkzee leaves Manchester United during the next transfer window. Guirassy has become one of Borussia Dortmund’s most important attacking players since joining the German club in 2024.

He has scored 64 goals and provided 17 assists in 102 appearances for Dortmund. His form at the start of the 2026/27 season has also been notable, with four goals and two assists from his first 6 matches.

Guirassy is under contract at Borussia Dortmund until June 2028 and is valued at 32 million euros by Transfermarkt. However, a move to Manchester United would not be straightforward, with Dortmund unwilling to weaken their squad while the striker remains central to their sporting plans.

Guirassy’s performances at Dortmund have also earned praise from Fode Mansare.

Dortmund’s next fixture is their 5th league match of the season, against Werder Bremen.
