Yassine Fatine joins OC Safi from Difaa El Jadida on free transfer
Moroccan centre-back Yassine Fatine has joined OC Safi from Difaa El Jadida on a free transfer, completing his move on 17 September 2026.
The 29-year-old defender moves to OC Safi after two seasons with Difaa El Jadida, where he established himself as a regular in the Botola Pro Inwi. Fatine made 35 league appearances during the recorded campaign, scoring five goals and playing 2,395 minutes.
He also featured twice in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, adding one goal to his season’s tally. His league record included an average of one goal every 479 minutes, while his cup appearances brought a goal every 180 minutes.
Fatine joined Difaa El Jadida from AS Sale on 18 July 2023, also as a free transfer. His move to OC Safi is the latest step in a career spent with clubs in Morocco, having previously represented CA Khenifra, Widad Temara and US Temara.
The defender began his senior club career with US Temara before switching to Widad Temara in September 2019. He spent the 2021-22 season with CA Khenifra and then moved to AS Sale the following year, before progressing to Difaa El Jadida.
Born in Temara on 5 December 1996, Fatine is listed at 1.83m and can use either foot. He plays primarily at centre-back and has represented clubs exclusively in Morocco.
His market value is recorded at €300,000, while his highest recorded value has been €325,000. The move to OC Safi marks his fifth club change since beginning his senior career.
Fatine has now completed his free transfer from Difaa El Jadida to OC Safi.
