Peter Amidu Acquah: Ghana winger makes Asante Kotoko exit for Unirea Alba Iulia

Ghanaian winger Peter Amidu Acquah has joined Romanian club Unirea Alba Iulia on a free transfer from Asante Kotoko.

The 20-year-old right winger completed the move on 17 September 2026, bringing his time with the Ghanaian Premier League side to an end.

Acquah joined Asante Kotoko in September 2023 and was part of the club’s squad at the start of the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season. He did not make an appearance in the two league matches listed before switching clubs.

The move takes Acquah into Romanian football with Unirea Alba Iulia, where he will continue his career as an attacking wide player. He is listed as a Ghana international at club level, with Asante Kotoko his previous senior side.

Acquah’s transfer to Unirea Alba Iulia has been completed as a free transfer.
