Driss Tahtah: Morocco midfielder joins Youssoufia on free transfer

Morocco midfielder Driss Tahtah has joined Youssoufia from Khemisset on a free transfer, adding a 28-year-old defensive midfielder to the club’s squad.

The move was completed on 17 September 2026, with Tahtah switching clubs after one season at Khemisset. He had joined Khemisset from Wydad Serghini in August 2025, also on a free transfer, and now continues his career with Youssoufia without a fee changing hands.

Tahtah’s most recent recorded appearance came in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, where he played the full 90 minutes. He operates primarily in defensive midfield and was born in Fes on 1 January 1998.

The move marks the latest step in a career that has taken Tahtah through several Moroccan clubs. Before joining Khemisset, he spent the 2024-25 season with Wydad Serghini after leaving Chabab Mrirt. His time at Chabab Mrirt began in 2020, following a move from Widad Sefrou.

Tahtah joined Widad Sefrou from WAF Reserve in 2017, having previously been part of the MAS Fes youth setup. His career has therefore remained within Moroccan football, with Youssoufia becoming his latest club after successive free transfers throughout his senior pathway.

The midfielder’s arrival adds experience in a central role to Youssoufia’s playing group. His preferred position is defensive midfield, where he has built his career after progressing through clubs in and around his home city of Fes.

Tahtah has now completed his free transfer from Khemisset and is a Youssoufia player.
